God put Eastern Europe on my heart.

I always wanted to know what it was that caused the Communist to have such dedication to their ideology. Then I found out that they were so dedicated to their cause to dominate the world that they were willing to die for this cause. Then I began to understand why the world was being overtaken by the Communists in the 70's. I prayed God give me a dedication like that. To be willing to die for what I believe. 

The vision of taking Bibles

In 1974 after I had my encounter with God I could not read the Bible enough nor go to church often enough. I was at every meeting and every conference I could attend. That's what you call being on fire with the spirit of God. During one service in Mo. God showed me a vision of ladies in eastern europe. They had head scarves on and I had Bibles in my hand. I saw myself giving them Bibles and they were crying tears of joy. I decided if this is what I saw, this is what I will do. I had no idea what I was getting into. It was against the law to take Bibles to these people. God always makes a way and he made a way for me to get thousands of Bibles to these people. 

Becky has a heart to follow God.

It was not an accident that God called me to be the founder and director of Casa Shalom in Bucharest, Romania.  Many times I have thought about all the challenges I have had to overcome working in Eastern Europe. I was brought up in a normal protestant home when going to church was a normal part of our Sunday schedule.  I found that the church was filled with a lot of hypocrites and this really bothered me as a young person. Thank God for his mercy and putting a desire in my heart to fight against Communism.  I decided to leave to go to college to prepare the best I could to expose the communist ideology that would try to destroy the freedom that we had in America.  In 1974 I completely dedicated my life to God and started on a journey that I have never regreted. It was been so exciting and sometimes amazing to see what God can do in our lives if we let him be in the drivers seat.  In this site I'll be sharing some of my adventures with you.
